Situated in rolling countryside, the hamlet of Los Villalones is an easy 25 minute drive from the centre of the beautiful, ancient city of Ronda - a “must“ for any visitor!  Sitting in its own grounds with breathtaking views and swimming pool, El Rodeo offers peace and comfort to its visitors whilst providing an excellent starting point for sampling what Andalucia has to offer.

In 10 minutes drive you can visit the ruins of the Roman settlement of Acinipo or the medieval white village of Setenil de las Bodegas with its typical cave houses and cafes.

The historic cities of Seville; Granada; Cordoba; Cadiz and Jerez are all accessible for day trips. Who can ever forget a visit to the Alhambra in Granada or the Mesquita in Cordoba?

Drive down through the spectacular scenery of the Guadairo valley to the coast and visit Gibraltar. Drive on to Tarifa where you can take a short ferry crossing to fascinating Tangiers, Morocco.

For train enthusiasts, travel from Ronda to Algeciras, visit the bustling market, have a leisurely lunch then take the train back.  Enjoy the wonderful scenery and see the storks nesting along the track!

If you want sea bathing, take the mountain road down from Ronda to the popular beaches of Marbella and Puerto Banus. Alternatively, a 20 minute drive will bring you to the bright blue reservoir set in beautiful surroundings under the mountain village of Zahara where you can swim, canoe and picnic.

For the energetic - cycling; climbing; horse riding; paragliding; walking and bird watching can be enjoyed close to our finca.
