Wine

There are some great wines made in the Ronda area using skill and care. However there is one wine that is marketed as coming from this area but is a blend of much cheaper wine from the mass-producing areas of central Spain.

We don’t want to name and shame so, being positive, wines that are to be recommended without reservation are from the following bodegas:

  • Conrad (their Soleon is excellent)
  • Las Aguilares
  • Dona Felisa (Chinchilla wines are very good)
  • Schatz (including ecological wines)
  • Descalzos Viejos
  • Bodega Kieninger
