WE are in a crisis. It's all doom and gloom - but is it really?

While looking at my web site statistics I noticed that most enquiries that I'm receieving are for hotels and bed and breakfasts.

It seems that many buyers are not just looking for a holiday home - or to retire - but for a complete lifestyle change.

Work in Andalucia can be hard to come by and many people with a bit of cash are not ready to retire.

So they're looking to combine both and find a lovely place to live while running a business to top up their savings or pension.

People are looking for everything from a couple of rooms to rent out to a small hotel - and these properties are out there. Some are fully functioning, while there are others that are not a business at the moment but have huge potential for this type of enterprise.

So where do you start?

If you have the money you can buy a property already converted, but not functioning for under €500,000. Or for the brave a large property to be converted and restored could be found for around €100,000.
