THE Allioli Oktober Bierfest is taking place for the third successive year at Bar Allioli, Jimera de Libar on October 1, 2011.

Located in the railway station area (estacion) of Jimera de Libar in the mountains near Ronda, Bar Allioli will be offering live music and great beers.

Things will kick off at around 1pm with the talents of Thrifty Malone a hybrid group of Irish folk and classic rock from Gibraltar. These boys have played the Oktober BierFest before and also featured in the mini-Woodstock Festival when it was held at Camping Jimera de Libar.

Neon Leon King Lion follows. With his musical origins in the New Jersey Punk scene he has a vast musical experience and will be giving everyone a fantastic show! Currently based in Germany his blend of reggae, rock and blues will certainly add some colour to the day. He is not called Neon for nothing!

As the evening creeps in it will be time for foot-tapping rock-a-billy with The Beerbellys. These boys are big favourites in Jimera de Libar and everyone is once again looking forward to their performance.

A South African BBQ will be providing the catering and there will be several tapas stalls as well as a wide selection of beer and ale from Belgium, Scotland and the UK.
