GOOGLE Street View is advancing its coverage of Spanish territory and one of its vehicles has recently been spotted in Cortes de la Frontera and Jimera de Libar. The photo map service offered by Google has covered most areas of Spain, bringing Spain to the top two position of countries most photographed, behind the United States. Initially Google maps was limited to Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia and Sevilla. Today it is available throughout the country. Google Street View now even includes such emblematic locations as the Alhambra in Granada, the Cathedral of Toledo, and the “hanging houses” of Cuenca. If that wasn’t enough, Google has even included the Camino de Santiago in its Street View application, enabling visitors to follow the path from Auritz to Finisterre. Google Street View cars are currently operating in the following areas of Andalucía: Andujar, Ubrique, Málaga, Guadix and Calañas.
