SEPTEMBER saw the first of a series of cooking courses at the Hotel Molino del Puente, near Ronda, hosted by Well know chef Ian Love - of Harbour Lights fame. The participants, with glasses of cava in hand, helped prepare a three-course dinner on both mornings, which they later consumed for their evening meal. Dishes included a terrine of goats cheese, smoked salmon, foie gras, Chicken Neptune - a steamed chicken breast stuffed with prawns, chicken mousse and spinach with a lime butter sauce and apple topped with caramel. The 'students', a group of six friends from the coast also learned how to cook the perfect poached egg! Cookery course includes: "What a wonderful break, cooking classes were thoroughly enjoyable and we look forward to our next visit... food, company and ambience left nothing to be desired."
