Situated to the west and southwest of Ronda, this stunning valley of limestone, sandstone and dolomite is an area of outstanding beauty - our Secret Andalucia.

A group of independent traders, living and working in the valley have got together to promote the Valley and the businesses within. The prime objective of the group is to draw attention to this forgotten area. Working together, pooling resources and complimenting one another whilst at the same time providing hugely varied services to the visitors. This really is a “peoples” website, written by local people for the local people and of course all those who have not as yet had an opportunity to enjoy the valley. Raising awareness first and foremost but keeping it interesting, informal and open to all to showcase their business or service.

This small group has produced a website to rival any of the more established Andalucian sites within just a few weeks. The website www.secretandalucia.com invites visitors to sign up for latest news, offers or important local information and to participate in making this web site a comprehensive directory of the area.

Out of this global recession has come the recognition that teamwork is hugely beneficial and although retaining individuality the independent businesses of the Guardiaro Valley now have a collective tool to ride out the “crisis” and move forward.
