COMMITMENT to writing my blog is clearly not as focused as I’d like it to be... my intentions are good but I haven’t been following through. It is quite a few months since I last wrote my blog and although many things remain the same, many things change. The moving hands of time... the constant and ever changing rhythms of the universe just keep on keeping on. Thank goodness the sun always remembers to rise and set and the moon to move in accordance with it. The clocks sprang forward last weekend and so the days have lengthened without us having had a proper winter season. We have all enjoyed the sunshine and the lack of rain but the poor old earth hasn’t... and the crops have been unable to grow. So we will not have those vast seas of yellow sunflower fields this year and there will be a drastic shortage of sunflower seed and oil for us to enjoy later in the year. But, as the rhythm of the universe continues and one season rolls on into the next, it will all balance out in the fullness of time. On a sad note... another cycle came to an end earlier in the year when my wonderful, beloved Ludo was found dead in his field early one morning. A heart attack. Why would a healthy, fit and energetic nine-year-old horse have a heart attack? Who knows? But he did and I miss him every day. Blessed Chocolate, his big brown pal, is there for me to ride and we are getting to know each other better and better... thank you Chocolate and thank you Rubio. On a happy note... I am fit to burst with joy about Francisco having a new little sister on the way later in the year!!! Not only my second grandchild but the first girl to be born into my family since me. Incredible news for me. I do not have a big family but they are ALL boys. Brothers, cousins, sons, nephews, grandson and now... wooeee!! I remember when my mother was pregnant over 50 years ago I prayed and prayed for a sister... (we didn’t know in advance in those days)... but it was another boy. Now, its for REAL and I have already started knitting in pink and I’m going into Ronda on Monday to buy pink tights and frilly knickers... I don’t do girlie and I never have... but there comes a time in every woman’s life... {linkr:related;keywords:yoga;limit:5;title:Related%20Articles} Quote this article on your siteTo create link towards this article on your website, copy and paste the text below in your page.
