HERE we go again... I finally have a new computer and so am catching up with much correspondence which has been falling by the wayside. Now, I can’t pretend that is the only reason that I have been so lax with my blog (!) but it is definitely a contributory factor - honestly.

However, as I say, here we go again and, as always it's lovely to be back in the valley. I have been working on the coast during the week and traveling back up the mountain each Friday evening... I am always very tired but blessed out at the same time.

Even just now when the rain is belting it down and turning streets into rivers, this is still one of the most beautiful places in the world and so, so, so good for the soul.

My greatest pleasure here is riding out on my horse, Ludo. This will not happen this weekend due to the rain... but hey ho... I have a full three weeks over Christmas/New Year to get out there. I rode almost every day of July and August and it was pure joy. Heaven on earth. If you haven’t yet visited our valley then you must do so and if you enjoy horse riding then you will be totally blissed out.

On another note, my little grandson, whom I was raving about last year, is now 14-months-old and fab. He has visited the valley and I have photos of him on the horse – which I must upload! At the moment he is in Brazil with his family there and I am eternally grateful for Skype.

I am now going to don my wellies and head off to the local venta for some Sunday morning churros... yum!
